Do you want others to examine/judge your work?

Then submit it to us and let people decide how good you really are.

Don't worry, we will only accept constructive ideas from visitors and those
who will judge your work. This means that you won't hear of insults or
destructive ideas. An example of a constructive idea that you could receive
is:

I like your work, but I do hope that you would make the colors lighter
or brighter. I like light colors, they make me feel happier.

In case that some visitors or judges do send or inform us of destructive
ideas, then we will try to revise their submission. We usually edit comments
to find good or constructive ideas.

That's why it is recommended that those who wish to give comments should
first agree that they won't send unwanted or undesirable criticisms. In case
that they violate the agreement, we will be allowed to edit their opinions
to make such constructive and helpful.

How this will benefit you

1. You will know whether your submission is good or not.

2. You can get tips or ideas on how to improve your work.

3. We can read or see your work. If we find it interesting, we may choose
to partner with (or support) you. Our group is currently negotiating with
several additional publishing/printing companies, bookstores, and other
   organizations.

4. Your work can be published/promoted on the Internet and to many filipinos,
or people in the Philippines. We will be using both Internet-related and
non-Internet-related advertising methods, so you would gain more exposure/
viewers here in our country - the Philippines.

This could be a new and interesting field for you, especially since the
literacy rate of filipinos are estimated to be at 90% (ninety-percent of
the people in the Philippines can read and/or write, and many or a majority
of them are good in speaking/using English).

5. We will protect your work upon your request. For example, we will assist
you in copyrighting/registering your work. Please read this for more
   information.

Differences between our database/plan and those of others

It is true that there are many websites which accept criticisms from others.
However, our differences from many or most of them is that:

1. We want to partner with artists/writers/programmers/etc, whereas many
other groups simply want to evaluate/comment on their work.

We usually give our own comments, and then let others to give their as
well. Thus, if we find that your submission is good or appealing/interesting
to the public/people, then we will contact you and ask for a negotiation
   or agreement.

There could be cases in which we will contact you even if your work is
not yet finished (for example: you sent us an incomplete story). We will
then encourage you to continue if we like it, and even make efforts on
gathering funds/resources to help you continue such.

For more information on this please read our partnership program.

2. We review and/or evaluate opinions/criticisms before we post them. The
purpose of this is to prevent or avoid people from being offended. We know
that people submit their work not because they want to be insulted, but
because they want to know and accept their mistakes.

Thus, it usually takes 1-3 days before we post a comment. And, if the
comment is too similar (or the same) with another comment in this website,
then we may decide not to add it. In other words, we are interested in
   posting/showing only original comments.

If however, there is a comment which is similar to another, and there are
still some (or many) important differences between them, then we could
give a consideration (we may post both comments).

3. You may request that we format/design your story/submission and the
comments in a design/layout/style that you choose or want. For example: you
may request that the text (words) of your story are colored yellow, while
   the comments are colored blue.

Thus, you can even choose to send us your work in a Word document or .rtf
(rich text format) file and we will either add a link to the document or
copy it (including the formatting and colors you prefer/choose).

Please note that some people could comment on your layout/colors also.

If you want us to make your work better/improved or increase its "charm,"
then you simply need to pay a little fee for the service. To know more
about our basic fees, please read this.

If you know of any website(s) or groups which also allow or do one or more
of the above, then please let us know. We also want to find out if our
services are really original or not.

How you can be sure that no one can steal your work

We will help you copyright/register your work, but in case that you want to
be more sure that no one can steal it, then you could send only a part of
your work to us. For example, if you have an artwork, you may send only one-
half of it, or you may choose to send a reduced-quality version and/or
smaller one.

We also ask from our visitors and critics/judges to avoid copying such works.
You may also request that we ask them to sign a contract either online/
electronically, and/or printed. The contract can be between you and them and/
or between us and them, etc. For more information on such, please read the
following:

Assistance in contract signing and/or creation.

To see how critics/judges would add comments to your work, please read this.
You can open it in a new window by right-clicking on it and choosing "Open in
new window" if you're using Internet Explorer.

Want to judge?

Simply read the following examples, so you can have ideas on how to give
comments, then please fill up the form below.

Example of a story with and without comments

Without the comments:

  --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Crazy man hits town: bystanders watch in shock

A crazy middle-aged man laughed uncontrollably at the streets yesterday, Date.

The man, who was identified as "Jack the joker," started laughing for no
obvious reason, which caused massive amounts of traffic due to the bystanding
spectators.

"He's crazy. I can remember that he was from the mental hospital before,"
said an old woman, who denied that she was a friend of the man.

However, psychologists and doctors who were at the scene confirmed that they
know the man, and that he was cured of his illness several years ago.

The unknown man stopped laughing and said to everyone in the area, "Ha! ha!
ha! I am the supreme immortal, who has come to destroy you all!"

A few moments later...everyone else, including me, looked at each other, then
walked away from the site.

  --------------------------------------------------------------------------

The comments can be placed in a separate file, and there is a link to the
file. For example, let's suppose that the following are the last/final lines
of the original story:

  --------------------------------------------------------------------------

A few moments later...everyone else, including me, looked at each other, then
walked away from the site.

Comments

Or, the comments can be listed/placed below the story, as in the following:

  --------------------------------------------------------------------------

(previous lines of the story before the following line)

A few moments later...everyone else, including me, looked at each other, then
walked away from the site.

Comments:

The word "Date." in line #1 should have been replaced with an actual date,
   such as Aug. 30, 2006

This story should have been expanded more so that the readers could
understand clearly why the crazy man was laughing, and why the bystanders
   (people) ignored him and left.

  --------------------------------------------------------------------------

The comments can also be placed within the story/work, as in the following:

  --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Crazy man hits town: bystanders watch in shock

A crazy middle-aged man laughed uncontrollably at the streets yesterday, Date.

   * Comment: The word "Date." above should have been replaced with an
actual date, such as Aug. 30, 2006

obvious reason, which caused massive amounts of traffic due to the bystanding
spectators.

(other lines of the story here before the following line)

A few moments later...everyone else, including me, looked at each other, then
walked away from the site.

   * Comment: This story should have been expanded more so that the readers
could understand clearly why the crazy man was laughing, and why the
bystanders (people) ignored him and left.
